Lucas Oil MLRA Late models made for a very HOT night of racing with 82 cars at The Creek

Spring Valley, MN

June 5th, 2021: Eric Thronson

Lucas Oil MLRA Late Models: 26 Late Models came into Deer Creek, Hot, Fast and Loud. What a great show with dry conditions for qualifying and heat racing. But after some Deer Creek “farmingâ€? during the intermission, we were treated to some fast, smooth feature racing conditions. Even after the track began to take on rubber, the late models simply got faster, with the local rocket Jordan Yaggy #77Y winning his heat race after qualifying 3rd fastest. He ran up front and had a great shot to lead with a few laps remaining in the feature, ultimately finishing second on his home track behind Chris Simpson #32S. Check out all the results and full story at MLRAracing.com

Napa Auto Care Center USRA Modifieds: 20 mods attacked Deer Creek, with so many drivers charging through the heat races and ultimately putting on a breathtaking feature race.  Aaron Benson, #24X started on the front row and lead the first 18 laps. When a caution brought the pack together for the final seven laps, it was ON, as Joel Alberts, #4A and Jake Timm, #49 had fought through the field and were knocking on the back door looking for the lead. Alberts took the lead with three laps to go, when Brandon Davis, #50III brought it around the high side, on “FULL SENDâ€? taking the challenge to Alberts and making the pass going under the white flag. Davis took the checkers and a trip to Tralo victory lane.

WISSOTA Super Stocks: 16 Supers all made the feature for 20 wide-open laps for the checkered flag. Brandon Duellman, #0 fought through the top five, starting 6th and battled with current points leader, Ryan Wiome, #17W. Duellman took the checkers and the trip to Tralo Victory Lane with a huge smile on his face. Dylan Kromschroeder, #9 raced his way to 3rd, with Neil Eckhart, #7E finishing 4th and Jeff Brauer, #34 rounding out the top five.

Adams Graphix WISSOTA Street Stocks: 16 Street stocks enjoyed the smooth, fast and fresh race surface for their feature. Braden Brauer, #34JR was absolutely flying, as he moved through the field from 7th to 1st. Braden’s quote in Tralo Victory Lane, “I love going that fast! Pure excitement from a born racer, like his father before him. Zach Elward was chasing Brauer, but neither he nor, Danny Richards, #3R could catch the #34JR. Another awesome, “green-white-checker feature for these great drivers once again.
