Kylie Kath Steals The Show At Deer Creek

Spring Valley, MN (May 25)
By: Todd Narveson

It was a glorious night for racing at Deer Creek Speedway for the annual Memorial Day United States Modified Touring Series stop. The USRA Stock Cars and B-Mods were on the program along with the Dirt Doctor Trucking WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds.

A huge crowd was on hand for the show sponsored by Crenlo, Scott Brown and Orchard Creek Transportation. The pit area was jammed packed with 155-cars for the marathon 30-race program.

The WISSOTA AMSOIL Dirt Track Series Midwest Modifieds had a stout 28-car field. They required four heat races and a B-feature to qualify 24-cars for their 18-lap main event.

Heat races were won by Nick Koehler, Don Schaefer, Mitch Weiss and Tyler Lamm. how much ivermectin do i need to treat scabies on dog Kylie Kath set the tone for the main when he won the B-Feature from the 10th spot.

Peter Lueschner and Ryan Wetzstein started in row one when the green flag waved. Lueschner jumped to the lead while Mitch Weiss challenged Wetzstein for second. Scott Hansen was behind then in fourth with Nick Koehler in the mix.

Weiss got to second on lap two and the top three were packed up tight early on. Weiss got alongside Lueschner for the lead as Koehler was now fourth. Kylie Kath was one to watch, he started 17th and was up to seventh when the caution flew on lap 6.

A big six car pile-up on the restart halted the race and at that point Wetzstein was penalized two positions when he jumped the start. Koehler drove to the lead on the start, but Weiss spun to trigger a caution and that negated the start. cheap ivera

That did not stop Koehler however, he darted past Lueschner for the lead. Hansen slipped past for second and Wetzstein rallied past Lueschner for third. Kath continued his charge and had cracked the top five. Then all of a sudden on lap 14 Koehler slowed and coasted to the infield.

Hansen inherited the lead with Wetzstein second and Kath was up to third. The top three were close and Kath got to second on lap 16 and then went after Hansen. Kath then pulled alongside Hansen for the lead when the white flag flew. ivermectin for malaria

Kath drove past and crossed the finish line first to finish off his incredible run. Hansen finished second with Wetzstein third. Lueschner would finish in fourth and Ryan Goergen came from 11th to fifth.
