Deer Creek Speedway Set To Host Harris Clash

Spring Valley, MN - By: Todd Narveson - The Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, MN is widely recognized as the “Mecca Of Modifieds�. This August the facility will add another big and prestigious Modified event to its resume. The Harris Clash is scheduled to visit the speed plant on Tuesday, August 7.

The Harris Clash is a Modified show that will feature the International Motor Contest Association (I. لعبة البوكر مجانا M.C.A) Modifieds and Sport Mods. The race started in 1992 and has been held at various tracks in the state of Iowa. Race organizer Bob Harris of Bob Harris Enterprises is bringing the show to Minnesota for the first time this year. The Harris Clash will also be the first I.M.C.A. sanctioned show ever held at Deer Creek in the facilities 23-year history.

The event will pay $3000 to win the Modified feature and $1000 to top the Sport Mods. On race day the pit gate will open at 3:00 p.m. and the grandstand will open at 4:00 p.m. Draw cut-off for the drivers is at 6:15 p.m. with hot laps also at 6:15 p.m. The first green flag will fly at 7:00 p.m. sharp.

The Deer Creek Speedway is a high-banked 3/8-mile clay oval which sits on 60 acres south of Rochester, MN with one of America’s most popular state-of-the-art racing complexes and an adjoining campground.
