Wagner takes the checkered, Boland and Tarras extend their streak!
Saturday, June 11, 2016 was a hot and dry one on the Button Buck track at Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, MN for the Blake Trucking Slingshot races. After being rained out the two weeks prior, these kids were ready to get their racing season back on track!
The pee wee feature race was being led by the 43 of Koby Wagner alongside the 411 of Gavin Oldefendt on the outside. Inside 2nd row was the k34 of Kolton Brauer, now back in the pee week class after trying out the junior class earlier in the season. The 7C of Curtis Parmenter started 2nd row outside. The 43 of Wagner shot out to an early lead with the 411 of Oldefendt hot on his tail. روما الإيطالي The k34 of Brauer stayed within a cars length behind the 411 until he was able to get around him with only a few laps left. vpn معني In turn 4, it was a near photo finish between the k34 and 411 as they came to the finish, with the k34 coming out ahead to clench 2nd place and Oldefendt finishing 3rd. The 7C of Parmenter finished in 4th this week as he continues to get comfortable in his first slingshot season. Your pee wee feature winner this week was the 43 of Wagner who dominated the pee wee feature race.
Next up was the junior feature race. On the pole was the 88B of Brady Boland, alongside the 109 of Aiden Leonard. 2nd row inside was the 20 of Gage Motl next to the 28jr of Devin Born. 3rd row inside was the 99 of Dylan Knutson with the 29 of Lily Reps on the outside. 4th Row inside was the 12 of Aiden Howard. The 88 of Boland shot out in front of the pack on the start, but a spinout in turn 1 by the 109 of Leonard created the first caution of the race and put the 109 to the back of the pack for the restart. On the restart it was the 20 of Motl alongside Boland ready to challenge him for the lead, but Boland was able to hold him off and stay out in front. The 28jr of Born ran a steady 3rd for his first feature race of the season. With only a few laps remaining, the 12 of Howard was able to get around the 29 of Reps and the 99 of Knutson to take over 4th place. At the finish, it was the 88B of Boland in 1st, followed by the 20 of Motl, and the 28jr of Born for your top three finishers. The 12 of Howard finished in 4th, the 99 of Knutson in 5th, the 109 of Leonard 6th, and the 29 of Reps finishing in 7th.
The senior feature race included the 50 of Gavin Tarras on pole next to the 44 of Karlie Wagner on the outside. معلومات عن سباق الخيل Ù?ÙŠ السعودية The 34jr of Braden Brauer 2nd row inside with the 18R of Evan Reyna on the outside. 3rd row inside was the 25 of Joe Chisholm and the 4W of Tucker Williams 3rd row outside. 4th row inside was the 27 of Jacob Peterson with his brother, Jordan Peterson, in the 19 car on the outside starting in 8th. A three-way battle ensued to start out this 18 lap feature race with the 50 of Tarras pulling out in front of the 44 of Wagner and the 18R of Reyna. The 4W of Williams in 5th place got around the 25 of Chisholm to take over 4th place and set his target on the 18R of Reyna for 3rd place. A breakdown by Reyna on lap 7 forced a caution with Reyna pulling off the track unable to finish. With Williams now starting in 3rd on the restart, more position changes occurred including the 27 of Jacob Peterson getting around the 34jr of Brauer to move up into 5th place. As the 50 of Tarras stretched out his lead, the 25 of Chisholm, running in 4th, pulled drove high on the outside of the 4W of Williams and the 44 of Wagner who were neck and neck in turn 2 to take over the 2nd place position. The 50 of Tarras extended his winning streak again this week taking the checkered flag followed by the 25 of Chisholm who held onto 2nd, and the 44 of Wagner in 3rd.  The 4W of Williams finished 4th, the 27 of Jacob Peterson in 5th, the 34jr of Brauer in 6th, and the 19 of Jordan Peterson in 7th.
Heat race winners included the 411 of Oldefendt and the 43 of Wagner in the pee wee class. The 12 of Howard and the 20 of Motl in the junior class, and the 50 of Tarras in the senior class.
