World of Outlaws Head to Deer Creek Speedway for Meyerhofer Crane and Rigging Services Clash at the Creek
SPRING VALLEY, Minn. — September 15, 2015 — The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series has been making an annual visit to Deer Creek Speedway in Minnesota each and every year since 2009. That tradition will continue this on Saturday, September 19 as the best sprint car drivers in the world tackle the three-eighths-mile for the Seventh Annual Meyerhofer Crane and Rigging Services Clash at the Creek. In six races for the series at Deer Creek Speedway, five drivers have picked up victories.
Last year, Paul McMahan scored his first win at Deer Creek Speedway over David Gravel and hard-charging Kerry Madsen. McMahan started on the pole and paced all 35 circuits. Madsen lined up 10th and powered his way to the front, en route a career-best finish at Deer Creek. McMahan has won twice this season and is just outside of the top-five in points.
