Ethanol Cup Returns To Deer Creek Speedway in 2015 - $5,000 Point Fund!
SPRING VALLEY, MN - January 27, 20015: Â Deer Creek Speedway and the Minnesota Corn Growers Association are excited to announce that the Ethanol Cup will return for the 2015 and 2016 seasons.Â
2014 was the inaugural season for the Ethanol Cup and it proved to be a popular choice among drivers. Overall Ethanol powered teams took home 59 top fives, 89 top tens and 15 feature wins, the biggest being the main event in the USRA B-Mod division during the Featherlite Fall Jamboree.
This unique program was designed to pair drivers from all 5 weekly divisions at Deer Creek Speedway who were running a minimum of 15% ethanol (with a +or- 5% tolerance) against each other for a $5,000 point fund.
The final race of the inaugural season saw a WISSOTA Super Stock, USRA B-Mod and WISSOTA Street Stock all in contention for the title.
The final details for the 2015 Ethanol Cup are currently in the works and will be released very soon.
