Duellman Adds Name to First Time Winners at "The Creek"

A perfect night for racing, with a very good August crowd on hand to see the return of action at Deer Creek Speedway after a week off. On hand were the local school Mascots with silent auctions and raffles going on to help raise money for local schools.
Spring Valley MN, August 9, 2014:  (Photo courtesy of Gulbranson Photo) Jacob Toepper brought the field in slow for the start of the Dirt Doctor Trucking WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature event with Harlan Morehart on his outside. Exiting turn two Jacob Bleess drove through the middle of a four wide battle for fifth. The first caution flew at the completion of lap one. Cory Crapser drove around Morehart to take over the lead on the restart with Dan Wheeler following through and taking over second. بيت ٣٦٥ Bleess moved into the third spot on lap three as another caution flew over the field. Josh Crary had slowed and collected Dustin Scott and Andrew Bleess. Bleess was able to continue while Scott pulled into the pits and returned as the cars took the green flag. Crapser led on the restart with Wheeler in second. Jacob Bleess and Jason Born battled for the third spot. Another restart on lap five saw Born take over the third spot and Toepper worked back into the top five. A final restart on lap ten saw Crapser again leading, Wheeler in second with Jacob Bleess back into the third spot ahead of Born. On lap fifteen Scott made it back inside the top five as he took the spot away from Toepper. Heat races were won by Crary, Crapser and Scott.
 
The Six Two Graphics WISSOTA Street Stock feature pulled onto the track next with Bernie Adams jumping into the early lead. The first caution flew at the completion of lap one. On the restart Adams led with Nick Schwebach, Troy Voth and Noah Grinstead three wide for the second spot. Mike Blowers moved to the top side of the speedway and flew around the battle to take over the second spot on lap three. Grinstead followed Blowers line and took control of third early in the race. On lap six Blowers moved past Adams to take over the lead. Schwebach moved into the third spot. With ten down Schwebach started to pressure Adams for the second spot. Up front Blowers was slowly pulling away from the field. Schwebach moved past Adams on lap seventeen with Grinstead following through into the third spot. At the finish it was Blowers, Schwebach, Grinstead, Adams and Troy Voth in the top five. Heat races were won by Blowers and Schwebach.
 
The Elma Performance and Fabricating USRA B-Modifieds pulled onto the track for their feature event. A complete restart was needed to get the first lap completed with Jacob Bleess jumping into the early lead. Trevor Fecht was in second early with Brandon Hare in third. Another caution on lap four bunched the field up with Bleess and Fecht resuming their spots but Cory Crapser jumped into the third spot while Erik Kanz battled with hare for the fourth spot. Another caution on lap eight saw Crapser take over the second spot behind Bleess. Kanz moved into the fourth spot with Hare in fifth.   Cole Queensland took fifth away from Kanz on lap twelve while another restart on lap fourteen changed the order once again. On the restart Queensland took advantage of the higher groove and moved into the third spot behind Bleess and Crapser. At the finish it was Bleess with the win followed by Crapser, Queensland, Kanz and Fecht. Heat races were won by Tanner Johnston, Bleess and Charlie Steinberg.
 
Brandon Duellman used his front row starting spot to his advantage taking the lead on the drop of the green for the Wagner Trucking WISSOTA Super Stocks. Matt Olson and Dave Solum battled for second ahead of Dan Gullikson. A caution after one lap saw Duellman again leading with Gullikson moving into second. Olson sat in third with Jon Duffy and Gary Wiersgalla battling for fourth. Wiersgalla took the spot with Brian Fetting now trying to move around Wiersgalla for the spot. The two continued to battle for the spot until the caution flew on lap twelve. On the restart Duellman continued strong up front with Gullikson in second. Gullikson had a little issue on lap thirteen allowing Fetting to take over the second spot. Jeff Brauer was back inside the top five after restarting tail of the field early on. Brauer was all over Gullikson for the third spot. Anther caution flew on lap fifteen with Duellman leading. Brauer and Fetting now battled for the second spot each holding the edge on different parts of the track. ألعاب لربح المال At the finish it was Duellman with his first ever WISSOTA Super Stock win followed by Fetting, Brauer, Gullikson and Solum who put a late race pass on Wiersgalla for the fifth spot. Heat races were won by Gullikson and Wiersgalla.
 
The final race of the night was the NAPA AutoCare USRA Modified feature. Brandon Davis used his front row starting spot to jump out front. Josh Angst was in second with Jason Schlangen in third. Schlangen put pressure on Angst through the early part of the race while Jason Cummins sat in fourth. With five down the caution flew. On the restart Davis pulled out front while Cummins shot around the outside into the second spot. Angst and Brad Waits were now side by side for third with Lucas Schott working past Schlangen for the fifth spot. With ten down Waits finally got past Angst for the third spot, while Schlangen and Schott continued to battle for fifth. A look through the field saw Twentieth starter Clayton Wagamon working hard and had moved inside the top ten running lower on the speedway than anyone. A final caution made a green white checker dash for the finish. Cummins, Waits and Angst battle hard for the second spot as Davis pulled away again for the win. Cummins, Angst, Waits and Schlangen rounded out the top five. Heat races were won by Bob Timm, Schott and Nate Wasmund.
 
Racing action resumes next Saturday with action in all five classes at the speedway. Start time of 6:00 with the slingshots in action starting at 3:00. بيت واي
