SPRING VALLEY, MN - July 1, 2012: (Photo courtsey of Buck Monson Photo) Another hot night was in store for the AGSTAR Financial night at the Deer Creek Speedway. First feature event of the was the Dirt Doctor Trucking WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds with Josh Crary jumping out into the early lead.  Jesse Hernandez and Jared Boumeester raced for second. Boumeester took second with Cory Crapser quickly moving into third followed by Dustin Scott in fourth.  With five down Scott moved below Crapser for the third spot while Boumeester and Crary were now side by side for first. Six down Crary pushed up slightly allowing Boumeester to take over the lead. Scott followed through into second with Crapser moving into third on lap eight. With ten complete Scott was all over Boumeester up front as they start to work into lapped cars. A caution flew on lap fourteen and on the restart Boumeester led with Crapser flying around Scott to take over the second spot. Two laps later Crapser and Scott were side by side for second with Scott taking the spot on lap seventeen. Boumeester took home the win followed by Scott, Crapser, Crary and Hernandez. Bill Stettner claimed the Crapser motor and the two exchanged them in the pit area after the races.
Fred Prudoehl led after a brief three wide battle for the lead on lap one. Kory Adams quickly moved into second. Adams started to work low on Prudoehl up front. Shaun Mann, Mike Blowers, Derek Ludington and Troy Voth were four wide for third. Voth slowed after contact between the four cars. Adams took over the lead on lap five with Blowers and Prudoehl racing for second. Shaun Mann moved into third on lap eight as Prudoehl dropped back. Blowers battled with Adams through the rest of the race for the top spot. Adams had a slightly better line and was able to keep Blowers to his bottom side and not build enough momentum to make the pass. At the finish it was Adams with his first ever win at the speedway. Mann, Schwebach, Blowers and Prudoehl rounded out the top five.
The Hinz Enterprises USRA B-Modifieds were up next with Lee Jonsgaard and Al Wagner racing for the lead on lap one. Wagner kept working the high side and on lap three took over the top spot. Jacob Bleess, Brady Keefe and Jonsgaard were three wide for second with five down as they crossed the line. Bleess took over the second spot while Erik Kanz came to life and moved into third ahead of Keefe. With seven down Bleess took over the lead while Kanz moved into second.  With twelve down Bleess and Kanz were pulling away from the field as a caution flew. On the restart Bleess led with Kanz in second, Jerry Young moved into third after racing with Wagner who now had his hands full with Keefe. Another restart on lap sixteen, setup a shootout for the win. Bleess led with Kanz right beside him, and as they came out of four Kanz got the run winning by less than a nose cone.
In the Wagner Trucking WISSOTA Super Stock Feature Schatney Sanders took the early lead with Ryan Siegle in second. Michael Hofer quickly moved into the third spot as a caution came out on lap three. On the restart Sanders led with Kevin Hager in second, Kelly Anderson in third with Jeff Brauer right behind in fourth. With Sanders leading Anderson began putting pressure on Hager for the second spot and took it on lap six. On lap seven Anderson and Sanders were side by side for the lead. Anderson took the spot while Brauer followed through into the second spot on lap nine. With ten down Brauer was all over Anderson and they two ran side by side for the win over the next ten laps. They raced hard and clean with very little contact and side by side on the lower half of the speedway. Anderson finally gained the upper hand on the last lap to take home the win.
Jake Timm led out of two in the NAPA AutoCare USRA Modified feature event with JJ Wise in second. A Caution after one lap saw a restart where a nine car pileup blocked turn three with Mick Glenn getting up on his side. All drivers were okay and the race was resumed. Timm led with Brandon Davis moving into second with Wise in third. Four down and Davis took over the lead. Lucas Schott flew through the field working into third by the end of the race following Davis, Timm across the line.
The final race of the night was the $3,000 to win WISSOTA Late Model Challenge Series race with Eric Pember jumping out to the early lead ahead of Lance Matthees. Jordan Yaggy ran in third ahead of Justin Fegers and John Kaanta. An early caution saw Pember continue to lead with Fegers and Yaggy racing for third. With five down Kaanta joined into the battle for third as another caution flew. On the restart Pember led with Matthees and Fegers in the top three. A.J. Diemel worked into fifth and on lap and then under Kaanta for the fourth position as another caution flew on lap twelve. Diemel, Matthees and Pember were three wide on the restart for the lead. Pember dropped back to third as Diemel took a slight edge over Matthees up front. Jake Redetzke was on a charge and took over the third spot on lap fourteen. Redetzke took over second on lap nineteen and set sail for the lead. On lap twenty they ran side by side for the lead and on lap twenty two Redetzke was credited with the lead. Kaanta took over the third spot as his car really looked quick at this point. A final caution flew on lap thirty six.
