Slingshot Car Counts Expected to Rise in 2012

Button Buck Speedway’s fifth season looks to be its best ever.  The Slingshot by Tobias series is returning and fielding more cars than ever before.  From a driver/owner meeting that was recently held, there looks to be a 50% increase in competitors for 2012.

The Slingshots will crown new 2012 class champions at seasons end.  Jim Chisholm, who was the 2010 and 2011 Peewee champion, has moved up to the Junior class full time, Derek Clement who was the 2010 and 2011 Junior champion, and has moved up to the Senior class full time, and Jackson Koster, who was the 2011 Senior champion, will be running a USRA B-Mod.
